Loan Operations Team Lead – Ambitious Private Credit Platform

The Opportunity
- Working for a high-growth private credit manager, this is an opportunity to take true ownership of loan operations within a scaling platform
- This is a hands-on leadership role, sitting at the heart of the business, with responsibility for managing the full operational lifecycle of a diversified loan portfolio
- You will work closely with senior stakeholders across Investments, Finance, Treasury, and external providers, whilst overseeing outsourced servicing and ensuring institutional-grade operational standards
- With increasing deal complexity, secondary trading activity, and portfolio growth, this role offers the chance to build, shape, and scale a best-in-class loan operations function
Key responsibilities will include:
- Ownership of the end-to-end loan lifecycle: closing, funding, settlements, drawdowns, repayments, restructurings, and exits
- Oversight of primary and secondary loan settlements (including ClearPar), managing pipelines and resolving breaks
- Day-to-day management of third-party loan servicing providers, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and service quality
- Maintenance and integrity of portfolio data across systems (including eFront), ensuring robust reconciliations and controls
- Production and validation of asset-level analytics (IRRs, MoMs, portfolio metrics)
- Partnering closely with internal stakeholders to support deal execution, onboarding, and ongoing portfolio management
- Leading and developing a junior team member, with scope to grow the team over time
- Driving process improvement, automation, and operational scalability

Your Experience
- You will be an experienced loan operations professional with a strong track record in private credit or leveraged finance environments.
More specifically:
- 7–12+ years’ experience across loan operations / middle office / credit operations
- Strong understanding of the loan lifecycle, ideally within private credit, syndicated loans, or direct lending
- Hands-on experience with loan settlements and trading platforms (ClearPar essential)
- Strong systems experience, ideally including eFront or similar portfolio management systems
- Experience overseeing third-party administrators / loan servicers
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, growing environment
- Prior exposure to team leadership or mentoring
