Argus, a leading provider of energy and commodity markets information, wants to find a small number of brilliant graduates to join a paid journalism training programme at our busy central-London office.If you have a curious and analytical mind, a strong work ethic and an interest in how markets work this could be an exciting opportunity for you.Our six-month programme will provide you with training in commodity markets journalism, market analysis, news writing and market reporting. At the end of the six months, successful trainees will be promoted to reporters. The scheme will provide you with: Intensive news-writing trainingExposure to different commodities which could include oil, metals, fertilizers, electricity and gasSkills to build, curate and interpret data sets that help explain market dynamicsThe confidence to contribute to producing price assessments, news, market analysisBy the end of the programme, you will need to demonstrate proficiency in reporting and writing breaking news, and in analysing markets for market commentaries.
