Job Role: Building Safety Case ManagerLocation: Field based, Travel required within the South East / London / M25 areaHours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday Salary: Up to £60k + car allowanceAt Innovus we are committed to delivering market leading solutions and professional services and as a Building Safety Case Manager, you will be contributing to our vision to be recognised as the market leading provider of services to the UK’s property sector.We are proud to employ highly skilled, experienced and innovative people who deliver business expertise and service across the property industry.Main Purpose of Job:The Building Safety Case Manager oversees and ensures the safety and compliance of all systems, structures, and operations within a portfolio of High-Rise Buildings. This role entails maintaining the building safety case, closely monitoring safety protocols, conducting building inspections, auditing documentation, and ensuring compliance with local regulations and evolving building safety legislation.Main Responsibilities:Ongoing management of all aspects of the Building Safety Case, including the below:Maintain detailed records of any incidents, inspections, mandatory occurrence reports and subsequent actionsReview content of all key building safety documents on production, challenging recommendations where necessaryPeriodic document auditsCarry out regular building inspections to ensure adherence to regulations, recommendations and company policies and effective maintenance programmesKey interface with the Regulator, providing any feedback or information requiredPrepare and submit all required documentation to the Regulator upon requestFinance and procurement managementRegular and effective reporting to the Client on the status and compliance of the buildingMaintain up-to-date knowledge of current building safety legislation in England and WalesKey Interfaces:External organisations, in particular key customers and clientsContractors / service providersProperty Managers / Operations teamsDevelopersInnovus Remediation teamHSE (Regulator)Experience:Leasehold experienceStrong understanding of building safety legislationExperience in property management / Asset management / health and safety or related fieldIRPM / NEBOSH or similar related qualification desirableTechnical Skills (If appropriate):Presentation skillsProject management skillsReporting, confidently using Excel and PowerPointFull UK Driving licenseWorking at Innovus:At Innovus, we recognise that people come to work to do a great job, and we actively support this through our internal employee reward platform and a culture that celebrates contribution.We’re passionate about helping our people grow and progress, and we encourage ongoing personal and professional development.
