Repairs Planner Full Time

We are looking for an organised and customer-focused Repairs Planner to coordinate and schedule responsive repairs across the Council’s housing stock and corporate properties.

You will play a key role in ensuring repairs are planned efficiently, appointments are managed effectively, and residents receive a high standard of service. You will work closely with operatives, contractors and internal teams to help deliver timely repairs, maximise first-time fixes and ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements, including Awaab’s Law and the Regulator of Social Housing standards.

As a Repairs Planner, you will:

• Schedule and coordinate responsive repairs appointments for residents and contractors
• Prioritise urgent repairs, including damp and mould cases, in line with statutory timescales
• Monitor operative availability and reallocate resources where required
• Provide updates and support to residents regarding ongoing repairs
• Work closely with operatives, contractors and internal teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
• Maintain accurate records, reports and scheduling data across repairs systems
• Support performance monitoring and service improvement initiatives
• Deliver excellent customer service across telephone and email enquiries

About You

You will have experience in scheduling, planning or coordinating repairs or maintenance services within a fast-paced environment.
