This is not a standard Business Development role.

This is an opportunity for one of the industry’s top performers to establish themselves within a high growth environment, working alongside some of the most respected professionals in FX and fintech. The successful individual will play a key role in building and developing a desk powered by intelligent, AI driven FX hedging technology, helping clients simplify risk management and protect against currency volatility.

For the right person, there is a highly realistic pathway into a Head of Desk position within 2 years.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an elite level Business Development Manager from the FX and international payments sector who thrives in a 360 role. This position requires someone who can both win business and manage relationships, becoming a trusted partner to clients navigating complex international payment and FX challenges.

You will be responsible for generating new business, developing strategic partnerships, and managing a portfolio of clients while working closely with senior industry professionals to establish and grow your own desk.

This role is suited to someone who wants more than just another sales position. We are seeking ambitious talent who wants to build something meaningful, work with genuinely innovative technology, and position themselves for future leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Win new business opportunities across international payments and FX

• Build, manage, and grow a portfolio of corporate clients

• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to onboarding and ongoing relationship management

• Develop long term partnerships with businesses exposed to currency risk

• Work closely with internal experts to deliver intelligent hedging strategies and tailored FX solutions

• Establish yourself as a trusted adviser within the market

• Help build and shape a high performing desk with future leadership responsibility

Requirements

What We Are Looking For

• Proven success within FX and international payments sales

• Strong 360 sales and account management experience

• Experience selling FX products, hedging solutions, or international payment services

• A genuine relationship builder with a consultative approach

• Entrepreneurial mindset with ambitions to move into leadership

• High energy, commercially driven, and credible in front of senior decision makers

• A track record of winning and managing business within the industry
