We’re an early-stage startup moving quickly, testing ideas fast, and building products directly with user feedback. As a frontend engineering intern, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with the founding team and contribute to features used by real users.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Frontend Developer Intern who enjoys building polished user experiences and turning ideas into responsive, intuitive interfaces.

You’ll work on product features across web applications, collaborate with backend and design teammates, and help shape the overall user experience of Neenja AI products.

This is a great opportunity for someone who wants hands-on startup experience, ownership over meaningful work, and exposure to AI-powered products.

What You’ll Work On

• Build responsive and modern frontend interfaces
• Develop reusable UI components and clean frontend architecture
• Collaborate with backend engineers to integrate APIs
• Improve usability, accessibility, and performance across the platform
• Participate in product discussions and contribute ideas
• Help iterate quickly based on student and user feedback
• Work on AI-driven user experiences and workflows

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as:
• React
• Next.js
• Vue.js (nice to have)
• Good understanding of:
• JavaScript / TypeScript
• HTML & CSS
• Responsive design principles
• Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn quickly
• Interest in startups, education technology, or AI products

Nice to Have

• Experience with Tailwind CSS or component libraries
• Experience building side projects or hackathon projects
• Familiarity with REST APIs
• Basic UI/UX understanding
• Interest in AI applications and conversational interfaces
