Investment Banking Associate (M&A) | Emerging Markets | London

Our client is a specialist investment banking and asset management platform focused on high-stakes cross-border M&A and capital raising across global growth markets. This role suits a technically strong Associate seeking exposure to complex sovereign-level mandates and large-scale infrastructure and energy projects beyond traditional mid-market deals.

5 Requirements

• 3 to 5 years in M&A or Corporate Finance at a reputable investment bank or specialized boutique.
• Mastery of complex financial modeling (DCF, LBO, Accretion/Dilution) and corporate valuation.
• A strong interest in international finance and the ability to navigate transactions involving diverse regulatory environments.
• A top-tier academic background in a quantitative field (Finance, Economics, Engineering, etc.).
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills; the ability to distill complex financial structures into clear investment narratives.

5 Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end execution of M&A transactions, coordinating workstreams across legal, tax, and technical workstreams.
• Designing and maintaining bespoke financial models for project finance and M&A valuations.
• Spearheading the creation of Investment Memoranda, Board decks, and marketing materials for a global institutional audience.
• Serving as a key point of contact for C-suite clients, institutional investors, and government stakeholders.
• Managing and reviewing the output of junior analysts to ensure the highest quality of deliverables.
