Shop Floor Assistant
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Floor Assistant to help keep our supermarket and deli running smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who is organised, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Refill and restock shelves throughout the store
- Ensure products are faced correctly and displayed neatly
- Check shelf edge labels are accurate and in the correct positions
- Monitor product dates and rotate stock where required
- Assist with receiving and distributing deliveries
- Organise stock in storage and shop floor areas
- Help customers with enquiries and direct them around the store
- Serve customers in a polite and professional manner
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation standards across the shop floor
- Report low stock, damaged products, or pricing issues to management

- Friendly and approachable with customers
- Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and moving stock
- Previous retail or supermarket experience is preferred but not essential
- Able to work efficiently without sacrificing accuracy
- Takes initiative and stays productive during quieter periods
