General Operator – 6 Month Contract Full Time NEW

We’re looking for motivated and reliable General Operators to join our team at Balmoral Tanks in Thurnscoe for a 6-month contract.

This is a hands-on, factory-based role where you’ll play a key part in ensuring our products meet the highest quality standards, while working safely and efficiently to support production targets. You’ll be part of a team that takes pride in delivering “right first time” and maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Working safely at all times in line with company policies and procedures
• Supporting production schedules to meet dispatch targets
• Operating equipment such as grinding tools and lifting machinery
• Loading and unloading materials and supporting general factory operations
• Inspecting goods to ensure quality, accuracy, and condition meet specifications
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment
• Wearing appropriate PPE at all times
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across production and other departments
• Completing training and contributing to your own development
• Carrying out general labouring duties as required

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or similar environment (desirable)
• A strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
• Good communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
• A high level of attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Someone who is flexible, reliable, and willing to learn
• A proactive approach to safety and following procedures
