VP, Investor Relations | Leading Hedge Fund Full Time

Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute Vice President to join our Investor Relations team in London. This is a high-impact role at a leading global hedge fund, offering direct exposure to senior leadership, institutional investors, and sophisticated investment strategies. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing investor relationships, supporting capital raising initiatives, and shaping the firm’s external messaging.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for existing and prospective institutional investors, including pension funds, endowments, sovereign wealth funds, and family offices
• Support capital raising efforts through the preparation of marketing materials, investor presentations, and due diligence responses
• Coordinate and participate in investor meetings, roadshows, and global conferences
• Develop a deep understanding of the firm’s investment strategies to effectively communicate performance, positioning, and risk
• Collaborate closely with portfolio managers, senior leadership, and internal teams (legal, compliance, finance)
• Manage investor reporting processes, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and timeliness
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to inform investor communications and strategy
• Maintain CRM systems and investor databases

Qualifications & Experience

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in investor relations, capital raising, or institutional sales within asset management, hedge funds, or investment banking
• Strong understanding of financial markets, hedge fund strategies, and portfolio analytics
• Proven experience interacting with institutional investors
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; CFA or equivalent qualification is advantageous
