Mechanical Site Supervisor Full Time NEW

Ceetech Ltd, part of the RSK Group, are recruiting for a Mechanical Site Supervisor based in South East, UK (Suffolk, Essex, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire). This is a full time, permanent position.The role is to supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site, ensuring delivery is in line with project programme, technical specifications, quality standards, and health & safety requirements.ResponsibilitiesSite SupervisionOversee day-to-day mechanical installation activities (HVAC, pipework, public health systems, BMS, thermal insulation)Supervise subcontractors and direct labourEnsure works are carried out in accordance with drawings, specifications, and method statementsCoordinate site activities with other trades and disciplinesAttend daily briefings with main contractor and other sub-contractorsHealth, Safety & ComplianceEnforce site H&S requirements in line with CDM RegulationsCarry out daily briefings/toolbox talksCompile RAMS using online platformEnsure RAMS (Risk Assessments & Method Statements) are in place, updated and followed using online platformMonitor PPE compliance and safe systems of workReport and manage incidents, near misses, and unsafe behavioursQuality AssuranceInspect mechanical installations for compliance with design and standards (e.g. CIBSE, , BESA)Maintain quality records and inspection checklists using Procore online platform or to main contractors preferred platform. (Fieldview, Dalux)Identify and rectify defects/snags – using Procore online platformEnsure all installations meet commissioning and handover requirementsProgramme & Progress ManagementMonitor progress against programmeReport delays, risks, and constraints to the Project ManagerAssist with short-term planning and lookahead schedulesEnsure labour and materials are available to meet programme targetsCoordination & Communication Liaise with:Project ManagerDesign teamMain contractor / clientCommissioning engineersAttend site meetings and provide progress updatesManage technical queries and assist with RFI’sMaterials & Plant ManagementCarryout general material “take off’s” and manage quotes to pass on to buyerCheck deliveries and ensure materials comply with specificationsManage storage, handling, and protection of equipmentCoordinate plant and access requirementsDocumentation & Handover Maintain site records:Daily reportsInspection recordsRedline drawingsAssist with:O&M manual compilationAs-built drawingsCommissioning documentationEssentialKey Skills and Experience: Proven experience in mechanical building services supervisionStrong knowledge of:HVAC systems (AHU’s, FCU’s, ductwork)Pipework systems (LTHW, CHW, domestic water)Ability to read and interpret MEP drawingsKnowledge of HSE regulations and safe working practicesStrong organisational and communication skillsProblem solver / can do attitude (site coordination & technical issues)Able to mark out builders works holesProficient in MicrosoftDesirableSSSTS or SMSTS qualificationCSCS Supervisor or Skilled cardFirst Aid at Work (training can be given)Experience on commercial/public sector projects (e.g. depots, healthcare, education)Key CompetenciesLeadership & team coordinationAttention to detail (quality & compliance)Time and programme managementSalary And BenefitsSalary – Commensurate with experienceContributory Pension SchemeA flexible benefits programme including the option to buy additional holidays, childcare vouchers and private health careRegular training and career developmentRSK Group is an Equal Opportunities Employer#SiteBased #RSKfamily #Recruitment
