Job Highlight
The Writer/Editor position will sit on the Editorial team within WRI’s Core Communications program, which oversees the overall strategy and quality of WRI’s content. As a Writer/Editor, you will develop compelling and impactful content, primarily for WRI.org, our institutional website. The job will include substantive editing of researcher-written articles, as well as drafting articles, newsletters, web pages, video scripts and other content.
You’ll report to WRI’s Editorial Director and will join a dynamic, collaborative communications team working across some of the most pressing issues facing people, nature and the climate. You’ll have a team of editors and seasoned communications professionals working side-by-side with yothe u; to help ensure we’re meeting our goals and delivering results.

What You Will Need
Education: You have completed a bachelor’s degree in a relevant study area
Experience
Languages: Fluency in English in written and oral communications is required.
Requirements: Existing work authorization is required where this position is based. WRI is unable to authorize visa work authorization.
Potential Salary
The UK Salary range is between 45,000 and 56,000 GBP. The Hague salary range is between 53,000 and 66,000 Euros. Salary is commensurate with experience and other compensable factors.
