This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team supporting the continuous improvement of Suffolk County Council’s core social care and finance systems.
These include Liquidlogic for Adults’ and Children’s Social Care, Early Help modules, ContrOCC finance systems, and associated portals, all of which are critical to delivering high‑quality care and support across the county.
As a Systems Support and Development Analyst, you will play a key role in ensuring these systems are fit for purpose, effectively support frontline practice, and continue to develop in line with service needs and national requirements.
Reimagine the possibilities.
Your Role And Responsibilities
You will provide day‑to‑day support to practitioners, finance staff, and managers, helping them to use systems effectively and resolve complex issues relating to system functionality and workflows. You will contribute to the ongoing development and maintenance of system tools that support operating models and key transformation programmes across Adults’ and Children’s Services. The role also involves actively supporting system upgrades, including preparation and testing of new releases, and engaging with system users to improve system use and adoption.
What You Will Bring
You can view a full list of requirements in the Job and Person Profile (Word). If you believe you can succeed in this role, apply. Even if you don’t meet all requirements, still apply. We would appreciate the opportunity to consider your application.
The team
You will be part of a forward‑thinking team that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement, working in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional development and the chance to make a real difference to the lives of adults, children, and families across Suffolk. The role reports to the Systems Support and Development Leads and works closely with colleagues across Children and Young People Services (CYP), Adult Social Care (ASC), and the wider council, including Social Work Services, Service Development, Contracts, Digital teams, Corporate Finance, and IT. The scope of the role may evolve over time in response to the changing needs of modern public services.
