Main duties of the job
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our patient flow co-ordinator team in AMU, medicine, and medicine for older people.
The candidate will be responsible for effectively and efficiently managing emergency patient flow, ensuring that patients experience a co-ordinated and streamlined journey through the department, by supporting patient flow and preventing unnecessary delays.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities
The role involves proactively managing the emergency patient flow from arrival to departure. This role is within a seven day service, working 12.5 hour shifts including weekends and bank holidays.
We are looking for someone with strong communication skills who is able to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment. This person will be used to working within a multidisciplinary team and can work autonomously, escalating appropriately where needed.
