Online ESL Teacher (Part-Time, Remote)

Butterfly English Education is an online English academy teaching Chinese children and adults through engaging 1:1 online classes. We are currently hiring enthusiastic online ESL teachers to join our growing team.

About the Role:

• Teach Chinese students aged 4–18 and adults
• 1:1 online classes
• Classes are 25 minutes long
• Teach on the Classin platform
• Preferred availability: 7–10 hours per week
• Peak teaching hours: 17:00–21:00 Beijing Time
• Weekend availability is a bonus

Pay:

$20 USD per teaching hour (2 x 25-minute classes per hour)

Requirements:

✅ Bachelor’s Degree

✅ 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (or equivalent)

✅ 1–2 years of experience teaching children online

✅ Excellent spoken English communication skills

We’re looking for teachers who are:

• Fun, enthusiastic, and patient
• Confident teaching children online
• Comfortable creating engaging and interactive classes
