TST Engineering Services Ltd is looking for a motivated Freelance Marketing Consultant to support the growth of our specialist UK MCA Engineering Oral Preparation services, aligned to the MIN 654 syllabus.

This role is ideal for someone with experience or strong understanding of the marine, maritime, Merchant Navy, offshore, or engineering training sector, who can confidently identify and engage potential clients through professional networking.

Role Overview

The Freelance Marketing Consultant will use TST’s LinkedIn company page and professional network channels to identify, approach, and engage potential clients who may benefit from TST’s MCA Engineering Oral Preparation packages.

The focus will be on finding suitable marine engineering professionals who are preparing for UK MCA oral examinations and guiding them towards booking a TST package.

Key Responsibilities

You will be expected to:

• Identify suitable prospective clients through LinkedIn and maritime professional networks.
• Engage marine engineers, cadets, ETOs, Second Engineers, Chief Engineers, and relevant maritime professionals.
• Promote TST’s MIN 654 Oral Preparation Services in a professional and accurate manner.
• Support lead generation for TST’s oral preparation packages.
• Maintain a professional tone aligned with TST’s brand and reputation.
• Provide regular updates on prospective leads and client engagement activity.
• Ensure all communication is ethical, compliant, and appropriate for professional networking platforms.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in marketing, sales, lead generation, or client outreach.
• A background or strong understanding of the marine, maritime, Merchant Navy, or engineering sector.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn as a professional networking and lead generation platform.
• Strong communication skills.
• Confidence engaging with technical professionals.
• A self-motivated and results-focused approach.
• An understanding of UK MCA certification routes would be advantageous.

Payment Structure

This is a freelance, commission-based role.

Payment will be made on a successful client booking basis, calculated as an agreed percentage of the confirmed booking value.

Full commission terms will be agreed in writing before commencement.

Freelance Status

This is a freelance contractor opportunity. The successful candidate will not be employed by TST Engineering Services Ltd and will be responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, and business obligations.
