We are currently looking for a Transportation Specialist – Road who will be integral to driving high-level performance across Lovehoney Group. Partnering directly with the Transportation Manager – Road, your focus will be on the day-to-day management of road transport operations ensuring on-time delivery and cost efficiency. In this role, you will combine your appreciation for operational detail with your capacity for practical problem solving. You will develop skills crucial to advancing in a competitive, fast-paced retail sector, all within a company that prizes dedication and results.

What You Will Do

• Liaising with the Merchandising, Warehousing and Ordering teams to plan and schedule stock and trade deliveries to meet deadlines and meet customer expectations.
• Select and manage carriers, requesting quotes where applicable. Compare and track savings made by measuring service level against cost.
• Coordinate shipments to ensure stock is shipping on time to meet customer and warehouse demand and minimise transit times and monitor for delays.
• Track shipments, update system information and advice colleagues with updates where necessary.
• Address transportation related issues promptly, such as delays and damages, implementing corrective actions as necessary.

What You Should Bring

• Proven experience (2+ years) in transportation related activities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers, carriers, and partners.
• Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, and decision-making abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
