CAF Rolling Stock UK has an exciting opportunity for a Delivery Manager to join our DLR team, based in London (Beckton), on a fixed term contract until 31 July 2028.
This is a key role responsible for the successful delivery of project activities, working closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure programme objectives are met.
The role of the Delivery Manager is a diverse role that requires the successful candidate to operate across multiple stakeholders, both internal and external to CAF to achieve customer acceptance of the DLR Project. The Delivery Manager will report into the Head of Production with the daily support of the Depot Testing and Commissioning Manager.
CAF has a presence in a number of facilities across the UK, these range from CAF being the leaseholder and facility operator to being a tenant in a pre-existing facility run by other Rolling Stock companies, either Train Operating Company or Rolling Stock Maintainer operating under a Train Services Agreement. The main objective of the Depots Manager is to co- ordinate with all stakeholders to ensure CAF are fulfilling their contractual objectives. This can include managing relationships between CAF and its depot access provider, and also include the management and upkeep of leased facilities including managing the facility upgrades as required.
Desirable
Educated to degree level in a relevant field, or significant proven experience in a similar level role.
Essential Has railway experience of either Operations or Project delivery.
