Emmanuel CE Middle School is looking for a Class Teacher – Middle School (0.8fte Maternity Leave) to join our fantastic team. Could this be you?
Actual Salary £26,332 – £36,281 per annum (Main Scale) (M1 to M6)
This job is Part Time for 1012 annual hours.
It is offered on a Temporary basis until 31st August 2027 to cover a maternity leave absence.
Approximate start date: 1st September 2026

We Are Looking For Someone Who Can Demonstrate
- A passion for seeing pupils learn and the determination to aim for the highest standards
- A willingness to develop their own professional skills
- A confidence in teaching one of English, Maths, Computing and Music at both KS2 and KS3 would be advantageous
- A commitment to pupil learning in and outside of the classroom.
A clean driving licence and your own transport is essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. Keeping Children Safe in Education
The school will conduct online searches of shortlisted candidates. This check will be part of a safeguarding check, and the search will purely be based on whether an individual is suitable to work with children. All aspects of social media and internet searches will be conducted. As care must be taken to avoid unconscious bias and any risk of discrimination, a person who will not on the appointment panel will conduct the searches and will only share information if and when findings are relevant and of concern.
