Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Driver to join our team at GH Supplies Ltd in Southfleet. This on-site role involves the timely and safe transportation of construction materials to various locations across the South East. Key responsibilities include vehicle inspections, maintaining delivery schedules, completing delivery paperwork, and ensuring a high standard of customer interaction and service during deliveries. Drivers must adhere to road safety regulations and maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of their vehicles.

Qualifications

• Valid HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving license and a clean driving record
• Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and safe operation of transporting heavy goods
• Good time-management and route planning skills
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in ensuring timely deliveries
• Current Driver CPC and valid digital tachograph card
• Previous experience in a construction-related or logistics role is advantageous
