This role is critical to ensuring the stability, performance, and scalability of our research and trading infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining production systems, supporting research workflows, and driving improvements across our infrastructure. You will work closely with developers, researchers and portfolio managers to ensure seamless operations and continuous innovation.LocationLondon or DubaiPrincipal ResponsibilitiesEnvironment design and build-out.Perform continuous status checks on research and trading-critical automated tasks. Develop automated testing frameworks and AI-driven solutions to enhance the quality of research and development outputs.Identify opportunities to improve the stability and performance of infrastructure components and implement solutions to address them.Continuously monitor logs for all production applications. Proactively identify and resolve issues before they impact operations.Oversee the health and performance of data pipelines, including the team’s data pipeline and other dependencies.Ensure timely and accurate delivery of external data.Work closely with researchers, developers, and portfolio managers to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.Web Scraping: Monitor and maintain web scraping pipelines to ensure data accuracy and reliability.Required Technical SkillsStrong proficiency in Python.Experience with monitoring and observability tools.Hands-on experience with workflow orchestration tools – Apache Airflow.Familiarity with data pipelines and ETL processes.Proficiency with containerization and orchestration technologies – Docker, KubernetesStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and toolsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively across teams.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentPreferred Experience5+ years of experience of professional experience in quantitative roleTrading Knowledge: Familiarity with the trading process and financial markets.Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.Work Ethic: Demonstrated ability to work hard and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
