Warehouse Operative – PERMANENT, FULL TIME POSITION

Salary – £29,445 per annum

Full Time, Permanent, 40 hour week, plus overtime at time and a half

Working Hours – 1pm – 10pm (Mon-Thurs), 10am – 7pm (Fri only)

30 days holiday per annum (excluding bank holidays)

We are a busy Paper Merchant looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to work in our PM warehouse operation within our Castle Donington branch.

As you can imagine within a busy warehouse environment, the Warehouse Operative role is physically demanding, requiring manual handling and heavy lifting in addition to climbing in and out of our MHE. As a Warehouse Operative you will be responsible for preparing customer orders, ensuring high pick accuracy, maintaining high safety standards, and working as part of a small, dedicated team to meet performance targets.

This is a physically demanding hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced distribution environment where you work to deadlines and KPI’s.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily warehouse activities (picking, dispatch, loading trailers)
• Maintain stock accuracy
• Ensure health & safety compliance
• Work closely with the warehouse management team to meet targets

To be considered for this role you will have:

• Previous warehouse experience
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Good IT skills and experience using warehouse management systems
• Forklift licence (Flexi experience essential), refresher training available internally
