Assistant Accountant – VDAC Leeds Salary: Competitive
Location: Leeds West Yorkshire
As an Assistant Accountant working within our Volume Division Accounting Centre, you will ensure the accurate processing, recording and completion of all accounts information as required.
Your day to day will include:
- Ensuring that all accounting and administrative tasks within area of responsibility are carried out in line with company procedures.
- Ensuringaccurateand complete processing in all accounts matters, with 100% complete andaccuratedata collection.
- Preparing regular reports as required by Group (e.g. Debtor Reports, Payroll submission etc).
- Completing ona timelybasis the manufacturer’s monthly composite and toassistin the submission of other relevant information to the manufacturer.
- Completing the monthly submission of the dealership payroll.
- Maintainingappropriate paymentproceduresoperatedwithin agreed timescales.
What we are looking for:
- High levelsof numeracy and literacy at a clerical level is essential.
- An accountancy qualification or be working towards one.
- A detailed understanding of accounting information such as invoices, credit notes, payment methods,receiptsand payment advice notes is desirable.
- Knowledge and understanding of VAT and associated documentation is desirable.
- Motivated by working to targets and under pressure.
