We are looking for a Building Receptionist to work 36 hours per week between 8.45am to 7.15pm Monday to Friday (start and finish time will depend on meetings taking place within the building)
We are responsible for 9 buildings and dealing with any problems arising within those buildings either the buildings or the people. We would like someone at the Town Hall who knows how to give excellent customer service and to treat people with empathy and consideration but when needed with assertiveness. You will have daily interactions with Senior Management, Councillors, Public, Staff and Contractors and this is why we need to employ a Building Receptionist who is capable, empathetic, assertive, can work on their own but also able to assist with the other members of staff within the department. You will need to be able to multi-task and have a good memory because we want each person who enters the Town Hall to be given the best customer experience possible and to receive the information they need to ensure the best outcome for all.
