Business Finance Co-ordinator | KIMS Hospital, Maidstone37.5 Hours per week, Permanent | Competitive Salary£24,784.50 – £26,000 per annum Are you highly organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering excellent financial and administrative support?We are looking for a Business Finance Co-ordinator to join our Business Finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to support our Billing, Credit Control and Provider Ledger functions across multiple sites, ensuring an excellent experience for our patients, insurers, and stakeholders while helping to maximise revenue and cash collection.You will be responsible for producing accurate invoices, managing queries with both internal teams and external contacts, reducing aged debt, collecting payments, and maintaining accurate billing information. If you thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and are committed to continuous improvement, this could be the role for you.Key ResponsibilitiesGenerate accurate patient invoices based on agreed tariffs.Liaise with internal departments and external insurers to resolve billing queries efficiently.Ensure pre-authorisation requirements are fully met and documented.Actively reduce aged debt, including issuing timely debtor letters.Process and allocate payments from patients, insurers and the NHS.About YouYou will be a proactive team player with excellent communication and organisational skills, able to prioritise a busy workload and build strong working relationships.Essential Experience & SkillsHave Minimum of 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including Maths and EnglishHave previous experience in an administrative or finance-related roleHave strong organisational skills and the ability to handle multiple prioritiesBe a confident communicator – both written and verbalHave a drive for continuous improvement and high performanceDesirable ExperienceHave an intermediate knowledge of ExcelHave experience working in a healthcare or clinical settingWhy Join Us?At KIMS Hospital we understand our people are our biggest asset and as such we are focused on ensuring they feel happy and valued both in and out of the workplace.
