We are on an exciting growth journey to become the UK’s most loved retirement expert.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide accounting and reporting (Multi-GAAP, including Solvency II) support on material finance transactions and projects for example new product features, complex investments, corporate initiatives, leases, impairment, provisioning.Collaborate with teams across the business to ensure delivery of timely accounting technical support. This includes those in DB, Retail Actuarial, Investments, Finance, Risk.Monitor changes in the business and the external environment relevant for financial reporting.Provide support to the wider Group finance teams, including accounting technical advice and operational requirements to ensure financial reporting is concluded upon on a timely basis and is appropriately recorded and disclosed.Implementation of changes to accounting standards.What We Are Looking ForQualified accountant with significant post-qualification experienceTechnical accounting experience requiredFinancial reporting experience required IFRS 17 financial reporting experience desirableLife insurance industry desirableOur behavioursAt Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
