Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Labourer to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work across various farm operations, including milking, general work with livestock and machinery. The successful candidate will be physically capable, adaptable, and eager to learn. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills, animal care, and equipment maintenance within a dynamic rural environment.

Duties

• Milking
• Calf rearing
• Supporting animal husbandry activities such as feeding, cleaning, and health checks
• Operating farm machinery
• Assisting with general farm maintenance to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

Ability

• Physical fitness to perform manual labour throughout the day
• Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations relevant to farming activities
• Knowledge of animal care practices is desirable but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
• Familiarity with horticultural techniques or general farm maintenance is a plus
• Reliable, hardworking, with a positive attitude towards outdoor work in varying weather conditions
• Ability to follow safety procedures diligently and work as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £24,420.00-£34,000.00 per year
