We are seeking an experienced Senior Health & Safety Advisor to support the delivery of high standards of health, safety and environmental performance across construction projects in London. This is a highly site‑facing role, working closely with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to ensure compliance with UK legislation, company standards, and industry best practice.REPORTING TO: EHS ManagerPurpose of RoleYou will play a key role in promoting a strong safety culture, supporting continuous improvement, and providing competent, practical health and safety advice across multiple live construction sites.Role ResponsibilitiesHealth & Safety LeadershipSupport the implementation and maintenance of the company’s health and safety management systems across multiple construction projectsProvide professional, pragmatic H&S advice to senior management, site teams, and subcontractorsAttend project start‑up meetings and contribute to project‑specific H&S planning and documentationAuditing, Reporting & ComplianceCarry out regular site inspections, audits, and toolbox talksInvestigate accidents and incidents, ensuring appropriate reporting, root‑cause analysis, and close‑out of actionsPrepare high‑quality H&S reports for internal management, clients, and external stakeholdersSupport accreditations, tenders, and pre‑qualification submissionsSite & Supply Chain EngagementPromote consistently high standards of health and safety performance across the supply chainEnsure subcontractors operate in line with company systems, client requirements, and UK statutory dutiesLiaise with clients, designers, and enforcement authorities where requiredTraining & Safety CultureIdentify training needs and support the delivery of internal H&S training and briefingsActively promote a positive, proactive safety culture focused on learning and continuous improvementProvide mentoring and support to other Health & Safety Advisors as requiredThe CandidateThird level qualification in H&S or a related discipline.5+ years’ experience working on large scale commercial/construction projects.Strong working knowledge of UK health and safety legislation, CDM principles, and industry best practiceHighly organised and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.Conscientious, highly focused and detail orientated.Self-starter and the ability to build relationships with all stakeholders.Full clean driver’s license preferable.Excellent communication skills.RemunerationFlynn offer a competitive remuneration package to include basic salary, pension and life assurance, healthcare, and a car allowance/company vehicle.Flynn is an equal opportunity employerFor further details on Flynn’s Privacy Statement, please go to: https://www.flynnmc.com/privacy
