Duties

• Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
• Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
• Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and maximise sales opportunities
• Ensure all health and safety standards, including food safety regulations, are adhered to at all times
• Assist in setting up tables, clearing dishes, and maintaining the cleanliness of the dining area
• Provide attentive guest service by checking on guests regularly and responding to their needs promptly
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and resolve any issues efficiently

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is highly desirable
• Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
• Familiarity with serving techniques, guest services, and upselling strategies will be beneficial
• Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour are essential for providing outstanding guest experiences
• Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately and managing bills
