Overview
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Picker/Packer to join our warehouse team. This role involves selecting, packing, and preparing goods for dispatch in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in materials handling and warehouse operations, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Duties

• Accurately pick items from stock using warehouse management systems
• Pack products securely for shipping, ensuring quality standards are met
• Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as forklifts
• Manage stock levels by stocking shelves and replenishing inventory as needed
• Assist with shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and record keeping
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Operate mechanical equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and productivity
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily targets and deadlines

Experience

• Previous warehouse experience is preferred, especially in picking & packing operations
• Knowledge of materials handling techniques and forklift operation is advantageous
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar inventory software
• Experience in shipping & receiving procedures
• Mechanical knowledge or aptitude is a plus for understanding equipment functions
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently for extended periods
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors in order fulfilment
