An innovative organisation in the SaaS space is looking for a Junior Data Engineer. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their data engineering career to gain hands-on experience in a modern, cloud-first environment. You will play a key role in building and maintaining reliable data pipelines that support reporting, analytics, and operational decision-making across the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing and maintaining scalable data pipelines to support business-wide analytics.
- Transforming complex datasets using Python, SQL, and PySpark.
- Integrating data from various internal and external sources into a central platform.
- Supporting day-to-day data operations and contributing to data quality initiatives.
- Collaborating with senior engineers to improve platform reliability and documentation.
What We’re Looking For
- Professional experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar field.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL for data transformation and analysis.
- Practical experience working with data pipelines and cloud-based storage like Amazon S3.
- Familiarity with modern data tools such as Databricks, Delta Lake, or PySpark.
- Legally authorized to work in the United Kingdom.
