Hotcam is a market-leading technical production partner delivering complex multicamera and OB projects across television, digital and live events.
We support major productions and operate at the centre of the technical production community, working closely with production teams, crew and suppliers to deliver consistently at a high standard.
The role
The Kit Room sits at the centre of our operation. Every hire and project passes through it, and the quality of what leaves the building directly affects delivery on site.
The Kit Room Manager is responsible for running this environment by overseeing workflow, maintaining standards, and ensuring equipment is prepared, checked and dispatched correctly and on time.
This is a hands-on operational role requiring strong organisation, clear leadership and the ability to maintain control under pressure. Responsibilities are primarily focussed on outgoing jobs, QC and managing prep workflows across a range of different type of projects.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing workflow across prep bays
- Allocating work based on project priorities
- Overseeing quality control from check-in to dispatch
- Ensuring equipment is complete, accurate and ready for use
- Coordinating with Technical Resources, Logistics and Goods Out
- Communicating clearly on job readiness and delivery risks
- Leading and supporting the Kit Room team alongside the Team Operations Manager.

About you
- Strong organisational and operational management skills
- Experience in a fast-paced warehouse, technical or production environment
- High attention to detail and commitment to standards
- Confident communicator
- Practical, hands-on approach to problem solving
- Broadcast or technical production experience is highly desirable.
