Inclusion Consultant – Curantis

Job Code: 2026-CCS-NCT-008 Location: NCT Curantis (Denton) FT/PT Status: Full Time

Position Overview

• Oversee Child Care Services for children with disabilities as per required policies.
• Responsible for obtaining documentation sources of evidence of disability.
• Build positive relationships based on mutual trust and rapport with families, community partners and the CCA team.
• Maintain documentation of activities, attendees, follow-up and other pertinent information.
• Responsible for educating parents regarding services, disabilities, and available resources.
• Authorize care per parent’s request at facilities.
• Develop and implement Inclusion Plan within required timeframes and according to required policies.
• Responsible for evaluating adaptive equipment needs.
• Support recruitment efforts of CCS (Child Care Services) for families in need.
• Responsible for monitoring services to children with disabilities with on-site visits as required.
• Represent CCA and Curantis at various community events conveying the company’s mission, values, and vision while promoting the progress and needs of the company.
• Other related duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in social work, child development, early childhood education, or closely related field.
• Minimum of at least six college credit hours in Special Education or related field. 96 (Ninety-Six) contact hours of documented training in special education or related field. May substitute for the six college semester hours required. One full year of full-time work experience in child development or child care program and/or customer service.
• Must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and connect with community organizations to identify needs, locate, and refer services and solutions.
• Must possess and maintain the necessary skill level in technology systems and software required to perform job duties.
• Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with Program Services Staff and Early Learning Providers with professionalism.
• Must be legally authorized to work in US/TX.
• Position subject to successful completion of background checks.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk, stand, and sit for extended periods.
• Repetitive use of hands for reaching, handling, and turning.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds; includes light lifting of supplies and materials.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Must be able to twist, turn, kneel, bend, and stoop as needed.
