You’ll be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment with strong links to our wider UK Infrastructure teams and the global Ramboll network. This is a hands-on leadership role with real influence on project outcomes, business growth and professional development across the team.What You’ll DoLead civil and infrastructure design delivery across projects (SuDS, surface & foul drainage, utilities, earthworks, highways) whether driven by Infrastructure or multi-disciplinary programmes. Integrate civil design with other disciplines, ensuring coordinated and constructible outcomes. Provide technical leadership, mentoring and line management to deliver projects and grow team capability. Take ownership of project financials — fee forecasting, pricing and resource allocation. Plan and manage workstreams to achieve efficient, timely delivery. Represent Ramboll with clients and stakeholders, securing approvals and certifications. Promote health, safety and quality best practice (including CDM) across the team. Support business development: build relationships, gather market intelligence and prepare discipline-specific bids. Champion Ramboll’s Global Strategy, Partner for Sustainable Change. Meet with your colleagues in the Bristol office twice a week.About YouStrong technical background in civil engineering: SuDS, surface & foul drainage and earthworks design, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards. Proven experience delivering projects through all RIBA stages. Track record of delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions. Demonstrated ability to lead single and multi-disciplinary projects and teams. Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience producing technical reports and bid documents. Able to obtain Baseline Personal Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC). Degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered or Incorporated with relevant Institution. Desirable software experience: InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage, Civil 3D.
