We are on an exciting growth journey to become the UK’s most loved retirement expert.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and lead the DB Reinsurance Operations teamResponsible for delivery of regular reinsurance reporting, ensuring it is delivered in a timely and accurate manner in accordance with Treaty timeframesMonitor compliance with contractual terms across all reinsurance arrangementsDrive forward transformation and development work to build automated and scalable solutions for Reinsurance ReportingCollaborate with reinsurers on cashflow reconciliation activity.Ensure reinsurance data is processed, assessed and collated for onward distribution both internally and to our reinsurance counterparties in accordance with contractual timeframesProvide operational inputs to new reinsurance contracts and maintain engagement with DB Head of Reinsurance Relationships and Head of DB Reinsurance Pricing and OperationsDrive continuous improvement in quality of data to all stakeholders ensuring timely delivery and that records are accurately maintained to support Audit requirementsAct as subject matter expert on Reinsurance Operations, sharing knowledge with relevant teams in DB as necessaryEstablish and manage relationships with the relevant Operations teams at reinsurance counterpartiesWhat We’re Looking ForDeep knowledge of reinsurance concepts, particularly in relation to reinsurance of bulk annuity businessStrong team managerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsWillingness to embrace change and new ways of workingGood understanding of DB de-risking administration requirements and how they differ from standard pensions administrationTraining individuals and groups of peopleAbility to manage workloads and prioritise a number of different tasks based on business volumes and prioritiesClear focus on quality, service and resultsFlexible approach with the ability to work as part of a team in a fast moving environmentTrack record of working in the Reinsurance and Pensions Industry sectorPrevious experience of working for a DB Pensions de-risking company beneficialOur behavioursAt Just you’ll have the opportunity to develop your career, whilst making a difference to the lives of those around you.
