Fresh Produce Trader/Buyer

With an emphasis on efficiency, customer service, and consistent supply, a leading player in the wholesale and retail sector. This permanent role offers a competitive salary range of £30K to £55K OTE, depending on your level of experience.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proven experience in fresh produce buying and selling, with a strong understanding of grower and customer relationships
• Expertise in managing stock levels, conducting daily quality checks, and coordinating goods in and order placement
• Ability to identify new suppliers and prospects, ensuring a diverse and competitive supply chain
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills to liaise with growers, agents, and customers
• Passion for delivering high-quality produce and exceeding customer expectations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Relevant experience in the fresh produce trading industry, with a deep understanding of the market dynamics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise stock management and drive operational efficiency
• Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, early-morning environment, with the ability to provide weekend cover when required
