We’re looking for a Logistics Planning & Stock Control Assistant to join our team on a 6‑month contract, supporting our Plant Logistics and Stock Control teams during a particularly busy period. This role is perfect for someone with strong administrative or logistics experience who’s ready to step into a varied, operational support role.
6‑Month Fixed Term Contract – Harlow, ESSEX Site 5 days per week full time.
What You’ll Be Doing
Plant Logistics Responsibilities
- Manage logistics for UK and EU customer orders
- Process import/export customs requirements for EU shipments
- Learn the full MAM end‑to‑end process (full training provided)
- Book transport across multiple modes and prepare accurate loading lists
- Work closely with Customer Service
- Raise requisitions for raw materials and packaging via MD04
- Raise STOs for shipments to external storage and toll manufacturing partners
- Use CRM system to order ad hoc materials
- Conduct stock counts and follow up with reporting
What You’ll Bring
- SAP experience Essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Proven organisational and problem‑solving skills
- Confident communicator, both written and verbal
