Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed electrical estimates based on project drawings and specifications
- Conduct quantity take-offs for materials, labor, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to gather necessary information
- Review subcontractor and supplier quotations for accuracy and completeness
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and provide value engineering proposals
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market pricing, electrical codes, and regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator in the construction or mechanical services industry
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and installation methods
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Proficiency with estimation and project management software
- Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
- Relevant qualifications in electrical engineering, construction, or related fields are preferred
