We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated HCSW with effective communication skills to join our friendly team. In return we offer on-going learning opportunities to support your learning and development.As part of the Trauma and Orthopaedics Speciality, our Fracture Clinic provides care to a varied range of patients including trauma, major trauma, paediatric trauma, elective pre-listing and routine pre and post op elective orthopaedic patients.We support a multi-disciplinary approach which includes nursing staff, consultants, and extended scope practitioners.For Band 3 roles, only posts of 32 hours per week or more may meet eligibility. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) cannot provide a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) for roles that do not meet these criteria, and applications requiring sponsorship will not be considered.Duration, Location, and Working Pattern: This is a permanent part-time post Working 14.4 hours per week over a rotational shift patternYou will be based within the Fracture Clinic, Royal Alexandra Hospital , Corsebar Road, Paisley. PA2 9PNPlease note the salary is Pro Rata for part-time hours.Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Healthcare Support Worker, you will deliver direct patient care under the supervision and guidance of a Registered Nurse, playing a vital role in supporting the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care.In this role, you will competently undertake the necessary technical, invasive, and physical aspects of care appropriate to the defined patient group, ensuring all interventions are carried out to a high standard. You will contribute to the effective delivery of nursing care, helping to maintain quality and consistency across the service.You will work in line with NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde policies and procedures to support a safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff, ensuring care is delivered within agreed standards and guidelines.You will also be expected to actively participate in Practice Development Programmes, supporting your own learning and development while contributing to the ongoing improvement of patient care.Plastering skills would not be expected, however, as part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop these skills.
