We are seeking a dynamic and motivated admin/receptionist to join our team at OneWelbeck Endoscopy Centre in central London. This is a rare opportunity to work with a group of leading consultants and industry experts from the early stages of a completely new unit. POSITION SUMMARY:
Underneath the supervision of the Centre Director responsible for areas such as insurance verification, scheduling of endoscopy procedures, billing/coding/accounts receivable, accounts payable records or transcription of endoscopy procedures. Promotes a favourable image of the Centre to physicians, patients, insurance companies, and the general public.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
Good general education to GCSE level
Experience in healthcare setting
Basic computer skills
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Schedules all gastroenterological (GI) procedures and relevant appointments
Has good knowledge and understanding of the endoscopy schedule and the format utilised by the centre
Coordinates and schedules procedures effectively
Ensures that all required documentation is obtained from all patients
Ensures that all patients receive needed information prior to procedure
Interacts with patients, physicians and other staff both within the Centre and at the Physician practice
Works effectively with the Physician practice to manage the centre schedule
Provides accurate, timely and responsive information to patients, Physicians and other stake holders
Coordinates processes and route all paperwork as required to meet physician and facility requirements
Ensures efficient telephone communication
Follows all written protocols and procedures of the Welbeck GI Endoscopy Centre
Updates and distributes the Centre schedule as needed
Makes appointment reminder calls to patients as requested
Answers questions and provide information to patients as it relates to procedure scheduling and documentation
Requests patient records as required by the Physician
Verbally delivers instructions to patients and families
Collects payments and deductibles as directed
Processes payments in accordance with the protocol
Demonstrates courtesy and helpfulness toward patients and their families
Attends all mandatory training and relevant education as required
Regular and predictable attendance
Performs other duties as assigned

Participate in staff meetings, in-services, and continuing education as required
Full-time : 40 per week
