Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Doncaster for a Parts Delivery Driver. The Parts Delivery Driver will be responsible for the timely and secure transportation of vehicle parts and accessories to clients and suppliers. Key day-to-day tasks include delivering parts, booking vehicles in and out and organising stock
What You’ll Be Doing
- Planning efficient delivery routes
- Loading/unloading vehicle parts
- Maintaining accurate delivery records
- Ensure the safe handling of goods by using the forklift or manual handling where appropriate
- Conduct basic vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness
- Deliver exceptional customer service
- Operate within safety and compliance standards
Qualifications
- A valid driving license suitable for operating delivery vehicles and a clean driving record
- A forklift license would be highly beneficial
- Time management and route planning skills to ensure efficient delivery
- Knowledge of vehicle parts and accessories is an advantage
- Strong customer service and communication skills for interacting with clients
- Attention to detail and basic record-keeping skills to manage delivery documentation
- Ability to lift and safely handle vehicle parts during loading and unloading
- Knowledge of safe driving practices and road regulations
- Previous experience in delivery or logistics roles is an asset but not essential
