The Role:

We are currently recruiting a reliable and organised Stock Assistant to join our growing retail team at Edinburgh Airport. This role is primarily based in the stockroom, where you will be responsible for handling deliveries, organising stock, and ensuring the shop floor is replenished efficiently.

When stockroom duties are complete, you will support the shop floor as a Sales Assistant, helping to deliver a high standard of customer service and maintain store presentation.

Airside Pass Requirements:

To work airside at Edinburgh Airport, candidates must meet the following:

• 5 years of continuous referencing
• Accreditation Check and Criminal Record Check
• Hold a valid Passport or UK Driving Licence
• A clean criminal record is essential
• Proof of right to work in the UK is required in line with Home Office guidance

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive, check, and process deliveries in an accurate and timely manner

· Organise and maintain the stockroom to a high standard, ensuring stock is stored safely and efficiently

· Monitor stock levels and replenish the shop floor as required

· Assist with stock counts and inventory control

· Ensure all deliveries are logged and discrepancies are reported

· Support visual merchandising by ensuring products are well stocked and presented

· Assist on the shop floor as a Sales Assistant when required, delivering excellent customer service

· Follow security procedures and help prevent loss, theft, or damage

· Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations

What We’re Looking For:

· Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work efficiently under pressure

· Physically capable of handling deliveries and stock movement

· Flexible and willing to support both stockroom and shop floor duties

· Strong teamwork skills with a proactive and positive attitude

· Previous stockroom, warehouse, or retail experience (preferred)

· Good communication skills and customer-focused when on the shop floor

· Dependable, punctual, and flexible with shift availability
