We are seeking to strengthen our health care support workers on the neonatal unit bank.The successful applicant will be required to have basic computer skills; they will be provided with all necessary training and have a period of supervision to ensure the role is carried out safely and effectively.They would be based primarily on the neonatal unit – a nine bedded ward based in Women & Children’s at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary (DGRI). There will be a requirement to work flexibly across the Women & Children’s directorate to cover the service needs as they arise.The shift pattern will be 12 hour shifts rotating between both days and nights. HealthCare Support Worker must ensure that the highest standards of infection control procedures are adhered to.
