As a Learning Support Assistant, You Will
- Support teachers to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils, helping them develop social and academic skills.
- Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing through patience, empathy, and encouragement.
- Assist with personal care routines where required, ensuring every child’s comfort and dignity.
- Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to support each pupil’s individual progress.
- Help organise and take part in creative, hands-on learning activities — both in and out of the classroom.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has a caring, compassionate attitude and a genuine passion for helping children.
- Brings energy, patience, and a positive approach to every day.
- Is adaptable, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Holds GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Ideally has experience working with children with additional learning needs (though full training is provided).
