As our Group Technical Reporting Accountant, you’ll be part of the Group Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business and reporting into Head of Group Reporting. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers – today and tomorrow.
WHERE YOU CONTRIBUTE
The Group Technical Reporting Accountant is the subject matter expert for technical accounting and external reporting across Dr. Martens. You lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements under IFRS, manage complex technical areas, and ensure compliance with evolving accounting standards. This role sets the tone for governance and control, driving consistency and accuracy across global reporting processes.
You will partner with auditors, Investor Relations, Sustainability, FP&A, Risk, and Governance teams to deliver high-quality statutory reporting and disclosures. By embedding robust processes and standardisation, you enable leadership to make informed decisions and support the company’s growth ambitions. Your remit includes shaping technical accounting policies, managing audit interactions, and ensuring the integrity of strategic KPIs such as revenue, gross margin, EBIT, Opex, and operating leverage.
