Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries, adhering to all road safety regulations and company policies
• Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care to prevent damage
• Pack orders efficiently and accurately for dispatch, maintaining organisation within the warehouse
• Assist in stock management by organising inventory and maintaining a clean storage area
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients regarding delivery schedules and order details
• Conduct routine vehicle checks to ensure safety and compliance before each shift
• Support warehouse tasks such as picking, packing, and preparing goods for shipment
• Perform heavy lifting when required, following proper manual handling procedures to prevent injury

Requirements

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving roles is essential
• Valid full clean driver’s licence suitable for operating company vehicles
• Experience working within a warehouse environment is essential
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in packing and stock management
• Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and clients
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
• Good physical fitness to handle manual tasks throughout the shift
