Rouge Technologies has been operating for over 5 years, selling consumer electronics online through our website and platforms such as eBay, Amazon, and others. We are a small business, but have earned a 4.9 star rating on both Google Reviews & Trustpilot for having a non-negotiable attitude towards excellent customer service.

This role provides a unique opportunity to work directly with the owner of the business and gain hands-on experience in the day-to-day operations of a growing e-commerce company.
This is a fast-paced and demanding role. There is unlikely to be much downtime. Accuracy, urgency, organisation, and a strong work ethic are all essential. If you do not thrive in a busy environment and take pride in doing things to a high standard, then this role is probably not suitable.
Responsibilities:
Dispatch & Order Accuracy
– Daily dispatch of customer orders to a consistent high standard. Approximately 100 orders a day with items of many shapes, sizes and very similar specs.
– Ensure items are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately with minimal errors. Packages should be to a high standard always.
– Handle a wide range of consumer electronics stock, often with very similar products and variations, so strong attention to detail is essential.
– Maintain speed and efficiency while ensuring quality and order accuracy are never compromised.
Stock & Warehouse Organisation
– Keep warehouse and stock areas organised, clean, and easy to work from.
– Help maintain accurate stock locations and support general stock control.
– Ensure products are stored correctly and are easy to identify and dispatch.
– Take pride in keeping the workspace efficient and well structured.
Product Handling & Electronics Knowledge
– Develop a strong understanding of the electronics we sell.
– Be confident identifying different products, specifications, conditions, and variations.
– Assist with preparing, checking, and handling technology stock safely and accurately.
Refurbishment & General Operations Support
– Support with day-to-day operational needs of the business.
– Assist with basic device preparation and refurbishment work, such as resetting phones or helping prepare stock for resale, with training provided where needed.
– Help with ad hoc operational tasks to keep the business running smoothly.
– Assistance with customer returns.
Customer Support Assistance
– Assist with customer queries where needed.
– Help ensure customers receive a professional and helpful experience.
– Support the team in resolving issues efficiently and accurately.

Necessary Background
– Experience in dispatch, warehouse, fulfilment, e-commerce, or similar operational roles is highly beneficial. Working in high pressure environments where attention to detail is essential.
– Experience working with consumer electronics, technology, or refurbishment is a strong advantage or a personal interest.
– Confidence using online systems, software, and internal processes.
– Lives less than 1 hour from UB6 8AA.
