Are you an experienced Team Leader with a strong background in pension administration, whether in business-as-usual operations or project delivery? Are you eager to advance your career? As a Team Leader within our project delivery team, you will be responsible for managing the execution and day-to-day oversight of a varied portfolio of projects. Reporting directly to the Senior Operations Manager, you will play a key role in driving the success of our projects and enhancing operational efficiency. Additionally, you will lead, motivate, and develop your team, making a meaningful impact in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

How you’ll make an impact

• Oversee a portfolio of projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and to a high standard.
• Plan, budget, allocate resources, and manage projects and events to align with organisational objectives.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to the Team Leader.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve departmental efficiency and optimise processes.
• Compile and present operational reports to senior management.
• Analyse data to identify trends and recommend opportunities for process improvements.
• Offer guidance and support to team members, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to pension regulations, including GMP/GMPE, minimum pension increases, and disclosure requirements.
• Review and interpret Scheme Booklets, Trust Deeds, Rules, Benefit Specifications, and Actuarial instructions to determine appropriate actions.
• Participate in Trustee and ad hoc client meetings as needed.
• Support client account managers with documentation and other responsibilities.

About You

• Experienced Team Leader in pensions administration or a Project Analyst within the pensions sector.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record.
• Comprehensive knowledge and experience in DB, DC, and Hybrid Pension Schemes.
• Outstanding analytical skills and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
• Proficiency in performance management, including conducting regular reviews.
• Strong ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle competing priorities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage relationships with stakeholders.
• Skilled in conducting audits, identifying risks, and driving process improvements.
• Relevant qualifications such as PMI or Prince2 are highly advantageous.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
