Job Title: Delivery Driver

Working Hours: Mon-Fri – 7am – 5pm (45 hrs per week)

Temporary 3 month contract (with potential to extend)

Overview:
We are currently looking for a proactive and reliable delivery driver to join our operation. You will play a crucial role as part of a delivery team to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to our customers in and around the London area.

Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a delivery van to transport goods to designated locations
– Perform safe manual handling and loading/unloading of items as required
– Communicate effectively with customers to ensure smooth delivery process

– Room of choice delivery with some assembly of furniture for customers
– Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the delivery vehicle
– Assist in warehouse duties when not on delivery routes

Qualifications:
– Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or similar role
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Ability to drive in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
– Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
– Experience in commercial driving is a plus
– Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical work
