Trade Counter Assistant / Warehouse Operative – Bath Giant Rutherglen
Location: Rutherglen Branch
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday 8am–5pm & every second Saturday 8am–12pm)
Salary: £27,800 – £30,000 per year (depending on experience)

Bath Giant is a fast-growing bathroom, plumbing, and heating merchant with multiple branches across Central Scotland. Our Rutherglen branch combines a busy trade counter, warehouse, and customer showroom, serving both trade professionals and retail customers.
We pride ourselves on offering quality products, strong availability, and excellent customer service. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team in a dual Trade Counter and Warehouse role.
The Role:
This is a hands-on position that combines customer-facing trade counter duties with warehouse and delivery support. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the branch.
Key Responsibilities:
Processing customer orders at the trade counter
Providing excellent service and product support to trade customers
Keeping the trade counter area stocked, organised, and presentable
Picking and preparing customer orders accurately in the warehouse
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently
Checking incoming goods and booking stock into the system
Maintaining high standards of organisation and cleanliness in the warehouse
Supporting delivery driver duties when required
Covering general warehouse and operational tasks as needed
What We’re Looking For:
Previous experience in a plumbing, heating, or bathroom merchant preferred but not essential
Strong work ethic and willingness to get involved in all aspects of the role
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Confident dealing with customers in a trade counter environment
Ability to work as part of a team and support colleagues when required
Full UK driving licence Required
